Slagwerkgroep Amsterdam, conducted by Josep Vicent, is constantly looking for new ways to blend ethnic, modern-classic and jazz elements. Their new program ‘Crossover Vibes’ has three parts, Latina, The Minimal Show and Crossover Vibes: a musical journey in which ‘sound masses’ and minimalistic landscapes of ‘quiet’ sounds take turns, inspired by rhythms from Spain, Africa and Australia.
