Jazz vocalist Silje Nergaard is praised all over the world for her warm, expressive voice and her tasteful selections of songs. Her album At First Light from 2001 is to this day the bestselling jazz album of all times in her homeland Norway. 2020 marks the year in which she will be celebrating her 30th anniversary as an artist with the album Japanese Blue, featuring new versions of her best songs. Like on the album, she will be accompanied exclusively by pianist Espen Berg at the BIMHUIS. Experience their playful, dynamic songs in an intimate setting, where the vocalist will reveal some of the personal stories behind the songs.
