SEXMOB PLAYS FELLINI/ROTA

CIRCUS, CINEMA AND SPAGHETTI
AFTERWARDS AT THE CAFÉ: DJ PLUTONES
Steven Bernstein trumpet, Briggan Krauss alto sax, Tony Scherr bass, Kenny Wollesen drums

Circus, Cinema and Spaghetti is an explosive tribute to the films of Fellini and the accompanying music of Nino Rota.

Nothing is safe in the hands of Sex Mob led by slide trumpet player Steven Bernstein. The band from the New York downtown scene had previously performed eccentric renditions of James Bond soundtracks, as well as irreverent yet brilliant versions of songs by Prince, Abba and Nirvana.

As the arranger for movies such as Get Shorty and Kansas City, Bernstein surely has knowledge of film music, and as a two time Downbeat Critics Poll winner, Sex Mob knows its way around every style.

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
