SENSUÀL

After the success of Zuco 103, the Brazilian grooves of Sensuàl seem to appeal to a broad Dutch audience. Centred on singer Eva Kieboom, the band has built a solid live reputation on tour with Wouter Hamel. This year their second CD, “Salve!,” was released, and it includes guest performances by guitar hero Anton Goudsmit and trumpet maestro Eric Vloeimans. The CD immediately earned rave reviews; Holland’s main popular music magazine Oor praised the group’s groovy mixture of jazz, Latin, lounge and swing.
