SEBASTIAAN CORNELISSEN QUARTET FEAT. GERARD PRESENCER, ROB VAN BAVEL & GARY WILLIS

‘Modern electric jazz’ by a quartet in which power and interaction are at the forefront. Sebastiaan Cornelissen, one of the most prominent young drummers in this genre, is mainly known from Isotope, the group that he founded with Rob van Bavel. Cornelissen resides in the UK these days, where he teaches at the Royal Academy of Music. The American master on the bass guitar, Gary Willis, is well known from Tribal Tech and Gerard Presencer, one of England’s top trumpeters, worked with Stan Tracey, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, to name a few.
