The Bimhuis enjoyed a festive start of 2009 with the sold out New Year’s concert by Lilian Vieira, with Rogerio Bicudo and Sean Bergin. The lead singer of Zuco 103 guests on the new CD that her fellow Brazilian Bicudo made with South African born saxophonist Sean Bergin. Their album, Mixing It, will be presented tonight. Vieira will perform on some of the songs. A mix of blues from the townships and party music from the favela.
