Sanne Huijbregts (1992) is an award winning vocalist, vibraphonist and composer. With her band EvenSanne she won the Keep an Eye The Records in 2016, followed by a nomination of ‘Best Vocal Jazz Album’ at the Edison Jazz/World Awards. The jury said: “Brings a diverse new sound to Dutch vocal jazz”. Currently she is working on her project Sanne Sanne and A Song A Day, where she invites musicians to write and record one piece in one day. This concert with Laura Perrudin will be part of this series.
Vocalist and harpist Perrudin is the ultimate non-conformist musician. Her live performances are so powerful and compelling that you forget you are listening to one musician. With the combination of vocals, electronics and harp she always captures her audiences’ attention. The Guardian said about her: “Perrudin’s strong melodies and poetic imagery make each song uniquely compelling.”
