Rough Diamonds Round Midnight: IRIS

Emanuele Pellegrini and Giacomo Camilletti met in 2016 at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Together they played in the band I Molluschi: a band that functioned as a laboratory to develop and expand their joint, unique language. With a shared passion for modern classical music, jazz traditions and experiment, the two have now started the smallest possible band – Iris – with the intention of distilling both the form and content of their music into a special sound experience.
