Italian vocalist Roberta Gambarini lives in New York where she established a name with (amongst others) True Blue All Stars, with Billy Higgins and Curtis Fuller and the bands of T.S. Monk and Roy Hargrove. She made a big impression last season when she was a guest of the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, so we welcome back her warm, deep voice and excellent scatting in her own quartet.
