Rob van Bavel is a pianist who comes up with the most complex jazz patterns, without any effort it seems. Recently he presented his new trio CD ‘Generations’. Next to his smooth and creative rhythm companions Clemens van de Veen and Chris Strik, young guest soloists Rik Mol, Joris Roeloefs, Ilja Reijngoud, Tineke Postma, Martijn van Iterson and Rob’s son Sebastiaan van Bavel contributed to the album. In this concert Rik Mol and Tom Beek are his sidemen.
