British vocalist Phil Minton always pushes the envelope and possesses an immense range of techniques, which he constantly develops through improvisation. ‘A stunning vocal improviser, with a tonal and timbral range that seems quite uncanny’ (Penguin Guide to Jazz). Minton is invited by the Amsterdam-based Royal Improvisers Orchestra. This ensemble was founded by Brazilian multi-reed player Yedo Gibson and consists of international musicians with divergent backgrounds, from baroque to noise-rock.
