REBEKKA BAKKEN & BAND
Rebekka Bakken-vocals, Takuya Nakamura-piano, Martin Koller-guitar, Dieter Ilg-bass, Jojo Mayer-drums
The Norwegian Rebekka Bakken is a vocalist with an intriguing voice that, in the capacity of sound, timbre and intonation, can evoke associations in a range from Céline Dion to Emmylou Harris. Her songs have an elusive character with elements from triphop, country pop, folk and jazz. It all revolves around the atmosphere, her voice adapts to that and sounds therefore alternately cool and passionate.
