The numerous musical styles of Rajasthan (gypsy music, sufi music, troubadour music, festive music) are some of the most exciting genres to be heard in India. The musicians of the Rajasthan Folkmusic Ensemble live in small villages around the city of Jaipur and will be performing outside of India for the first time. With vocalist Sumitra, voted in Rajasthan as ‘best singer of the year’. With support of HGIS, Jaipur Virasat Foundation, Jodhpur RIFF, Grolsch.
