PROGRAM CHANGE: The concert by Rafael Riqueni will be replaced by one of Alfredo Lagos:

One of the most important contemporary flamenco guitar players, born in the home of flamenco, Jerez de la Frontera. Featuring singer and master improviser Diego Carrasco.

Alfredo Lagos plays compositions from his first solo album Punto de Fuga. The album is the fruit of the times he spent with his guitar over the past 25 years at the side of many great artists such as Enrique Morente, José Mercé, Duquende, Arcángel, Estrella Morente, Fernando Terremoto, Pitingo and Rocío Márquez.

Guitarist Alfredo Lagos is a familiar guest of the Flamenco Biennale. As he himself puts it, he provides the ‘chamber music’ for Israel Galván, in almost all of whose productions he can be heard. Together with Galván, Lagos made his debut on the festival in 2006 in the successful La Edad de Oro. Alfredo Lagos is one of the most allround guitarists of the present day.
