Queen Mab is a Canadian duo that invited viola player Ig Henneman in the year 2002 for a workshop and a series of concerts in North America. The chemistry that came into being was so unmistakable that the Queen Mab Trio was born. Together they create radical music that challenges preconceived ideas of traditional jazz and classical music, based on years of experience with composing and improvising. ‘Queen Mab is famous for raising eyebrows.
