On Saturday 18 November, the final of the Prinses Christina Jazz Concours 2023 will be held. The jazz concours is one of kind in the Netherlands, specifically for young musicians aged 12 to 21.

The day starts with the big band selection. During the selections the participating bands will play before a jury and an audience. The two best big bands get to perform later during the finals. Every big band receives personal feedback from the jury. With the tips the jury gives the talented young musicians their enjoyment while playing music increases. After the selections you can visit inspiring concerts and workshops, with i.a. Kristjan Martinsson, Tin Men & the Telephone, and Ella Zirina.

Entrance to the event is free and between performances there is ample opportunity to leave the concert hall. Look forward to a cheerful, festive and musical atmosphere. This much young jazz talent under one roof, does not happen often.
