PRELIMINARY ROUND DELOITTE JAZZ AWARD 2004with the JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW

After violinist Oene van Geel (2002) and clarinettist/baritone saxophonist David Kweksilber (2003), this year, a third ’talent deserving wider recognition’ will accept the Deloitte Jazz Award that supports the winner with a sum of € 20.000. A professional jury selected the five candidates from a large group of participants for this preliminary round. They will perform with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, led by Henk Meutgeert. Three of them will return to the Bimhuis on Wednesday May 12 for the grand finale.
