PRELIMINARY ROUND DELOITTE JAZZ AWARD

After violinist Oene van Geel (2002, clarinettist/baritone saxophonist David Kweksilber (2003) and clarinettist/saxophonist Joris Roelofs (2004) a 4th ’talent deserving wider recognition’ will receive the Deloitte Jazz Award (worth €20.000). The candidates that are selected for this preliminary round will perform with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw led by Henk Meutgeert. On Sunday April 10, three of them will return to the Bimhuis for the finals.
