PRELIMINARY ROUND DELOITTE JAZZ AWARD

After violinist Oene van Geel (2002), clarinettist/baritone saxophonist David Kweksilber (2003), clarinettist/saxophonist Joris Roelofs (2004) and bassist Stefan Lievestro (2005), a fifth ’talent deserving wider recognition’ will receive the Deloitte Jazz Award. The winner will be handed over a support sum of 20.000 euro. In this preliminary round the candidates will perform with the outstanding Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. Three of them will return to the Bimhuis for the finals on May 17th.
