One special presentation will be dedicated to the remarkable power of the cello: why does everyone love the cello? What is its secret? Light will also be shed on the uses of the cello under special circumstances, like Muziek aan Bed, in which cellists Tjakina Oosting and Marieke play at children’s hospitals, and a special project from Musicians without Borders where cellist Fabienne van Eck works with Palestinian children on the West Bank.
