PIETER DE GRAAF TRIO & CAPTAIN HOOK

Pieter de Graaf has been the regular pianist for successful singer Wouter Hamel and is prominently featured in the hip-hop orchestra of trumpet player Kyteman. For his own trio he writes short compositions that have a song-like atmosphere. After the break Captain Hook will present new music and a new lineup. The young Dutch quintet packs melodic hooks inside its spicy funk jazz, which has a seventies flavour through the use of Fender Rhodes and analogue effects.
