Saxophonist Ingrid Laubrock and drummer Tom Rainey have brought interesting improvisers to the Bimhuis before, in their trio Sleepthief with pianist Liam Noble, and in the Tom Rainey Trio with guitarist Mary Halvorson. New York-based pianist Kris Davis makes her Bimhuis debut in a new trio.
