Trio Palos y Cuerdas (sticks and strings) surprises with musical treasures from the Andes region of Colombia. The line-up is characteristic for the music from that area: guitar combined with the traditional string instruments tiple and bandola guayanesa. The trio consists of the brothers Saboya Gonzalez, who were educated at the conservatory of the University of Colombia. The three brothers play acoustic as well as electric, bridging the gap between past and present.
