Sixteen years after the death of Astor Piazzolla the innovative tango of the Argentinean composer and musician has even earned a place in Dutch history after the royal wedding of Willem-Alexander and Maxima, where the bandoneon played an important role. Pablo Ziegler played with Piazzolla for ten years. His piano takes the lead in the trio that creates a balance between tango, classical and jazz. Their critically acclaimed CD ‘Buenos Aires Report’ was recorded at Bimhuis.
