PABLO ZIEGLER & QUIQUE SINESI NEW TANGO DUO
Pablo Ziegler-piano, Quique Sinesi-guitar, Walter Castro-bandoneon
The one and only successor of Astor Piazolla is what they call pianist Ziegler who worked with the master of the Tango Nuevo for 11 years en had a big hand in creating his unforgettable mélange of tango, jazz and chamber music. Guitarist Sinesi also likes working with jazz musicians, in 2001 he produced a beautiful CD with alto saxophonist Charlie Mariano; ‘Tango Para Charlie’. Walter Castro made his name with the orchestra of Piazolla’s competitor Osvaldo Pugliese and embodies the suspense between the liveliness and melancholy that characterizes tango music.
