The Ex ushers in the new year with music, dance, Ethiopian food and fireworks. The eccentric Dutch band transforms the Bimhuis into an ‘azmari bet’, a club like you would find in the nightlife of Addis Abeba. Special guest is Melaku Bekay, one of Ethiopia’s best dancers, who will bring some of the greatest talents form the azmari scene along with him to Amsterdam. The party will be fired up by Han Bennink and many more musical guests.
