This legendary African band has been shaking dance floors in Nairobi since the 1970s with irresistible songs, now touring the West for the very first time. With special guest Congolese guitarist Aspro Lusuama (Orchestre Lipua-Lipua).

The legendary Orchestre Les Mangelepa was formed 40 years ago in Kenya. In the 1970s their stage shows were breathtaking: afro hairdos, jump-suits, bell-bottoms and platform shoes. To this day their spectacular classic sound still shakes the dance floor.

The time is right for the international acclaim for their East African rumba sound. For the first time in 40 years the band will tour outside of their region. Musicians from the heydays form the core of the group, which still gives exciting performances in Nairobi every week, in collaboration with renowned Congolese soukous-musicians.
