Opening Exposition Udo Prinsen

During a polar expedition on Spitsbergen Udo Prinsen installed several pin-hole cameras, which produce photos in which the light of months comes together. Short movements are not visible on the images, but the movements of the sun along the sky is, which appear as a solidified course of time.

Earlier this year he provided the visuals for the concert by Mark Haanstra and Oene van Geel, who performed where inspired by this photo series for their album Shapes of Time . On March 30 Mark Haanstra and Oene van Geel presented this album in the BIMHUIS. The album is available here . During the opening they will perform music from the album. Prinsen also worked with BIMHUIS regulars Eric Vloeimans, Martin Fondse and Han Bennink.
