OPENING DUTCH CHAMBER MUSIC MEETING

The first Dutch international Dutch Chamber Music Meeting takes place from Friday, September 30 until Sunday, October 2 in the Bimhuis, het Muziekgebouw aan t IJ, het Concertgebouw and various other locaties in Amsterdam. It is a long weekend with brief concert presentations of the very best that the Netherlands have to offer in the field of chamber music: top soloists, duos, trios and other ensembles with a repertoire that covers very old to contemporary music. The Bimhuis opens with three short concerts; with old music of Musica ad Rhenum, classical music of the Rubens String Quartet and new music of Electra. Arno Bornkamp (saxophone) starts in the atrium of het Muziekgebouw (19:00 hrs).
