Their album Life & Fire marks an anniversary for these three musicians, who have been together for ten years. While the songs of the album give an overview of their work, they still sound fresh and new, because they were recorded spontaneously in one studio room, without headphones, with friends dropping by. The music reflects everything that the trio has influenced over the years, from Jewish folk songs to Brazilian grooves.

Pianist Omer Klein collaborated with trumpeter Avishai Cohen, and he released an album on John Zorn’s Tzadik label. He currently lives in Germany, but he still plays with his main trio featuring bassist Haggai Cohen-Milo and drummer Amir Bresler. The three have arrived at an original style that is more than just a sum of its Eastern and Western parts.
