OKROS ENSEMBLE & KALMAN BALOGH, AGNES SZALOKI

The ensemble of violinist Csaba Okros is one of the prominent groups from Hungary and performs repertoire that comes from the folk music of the heart of Transylvania with breathtaking vocalist Agnes Szaloki and virtuoso cymbalist Kalman Balogh. Subtle, limping and lingering rhythms full of strong syncopes that, due to their incredible timing, swing so hard that the accompanying dances can be called the rock ’n roll of their area.
