Three prestigious European youth big bands join forces: NYJO from the UK, BuJazzO from Germany and NJJO from The Netherlands.
Three of the most prestigious national youth big bands in Europe–NYJO from the UK, BuJazzO from Germany and NJJO from The Netherlands–will present a collaborative program and will be touring German, English and Dutch venues this autumn.
Around 70 young, highly talented musicians will join forces in a surprising and varied line-up. They will perform new material, often exclusively composed and arranged for this collaboration. The program has been compiled by artistic directors Mark Armstrong (NYJO), Jiggs Whigham (BuJazzO) and Martin Fondse (NJJO). This exciting project aims to stimulate cultural exchange and promotion of young top talent in Europe.
