Dutch latin jazz orchestra Nueva Manteca receives world wide praise for its ingenious cross-pollinations. This concert opens with a salsa version of an old Gregorian mass for the dead. Band leader Laurens Jan Hartong wrote this arrangement following his successful latin tinged adaptations of church music.
