Latin jazz orchestra Nueva Manteca celebrates 25 years of international success with Chicano Rock, an ode to Latin rock from the 1970s and the music of Carlos Santana in particular. Expect wild guitar solos backed by a fiery horn section, steamy percussion and warm Hammond-B3 organ grooves. Nueva Manteca is celebrated world-wide and has recorded CDs for the renowned Blue Note label. The Dutch formation was chosen as ‘Europe’s finest in Latin jazz’ by the internationally authoritative Latin Beat Magazine.
