Nizar Rohana is a prominent ud player in the Palestinian music scene and worldwide, who is distinguished for combining virtuosity within fresh contemporary compositions while maintaining the ud’s authentic language. With ud, double bass and percussion, Nizar Rohana Trio performs original repertoire that is an extension of Arabic and middle eastern traditions, and he draws from a wide range of other sources such as jazz and western classical music.
Matyas Szandai is one of the most sought-after bass players in the jazz scene in Europe. Over the last fifteen years, he performed and recorded with renowned musicians such as Archie Shepp, David Murray and Herbie Mann. Ruven Ruppik expresses himself through different music styles such as Flamenco, Mediterranean music, Ottoman music, Latin music and Indian Music. He has performed with many renowned artists among them Hariprasad Chaurasia, Paco Peña and Kudsi Erguner.
