Neil Cowley

Since disbanding his eponymous trio and becoming a solo artist, Neil Cowley has introduced elements of ambient, electronic and neoclassical music into his sound, having established himself as an esteemed pianist, composer and producer. The piano remains his main instrument in his solo performances, where he surrounds himself with drum machines, synthesizers, and visuals. This spring will see the release of his new album Battery Life.

Neil Cowley reached millions through his album recordings as the pianist for big stars, such as Adèle, Amy MacDonald, and Michael Kiwanuka. After his classical education, the British musician became enamored with jazz, funk, rock, and electronica. All these directions came together in his trio, with which he has performed on our stage several times. Following a period of contemplation in Berlin, he presented his first solo album Hall of Mirrors in 2021. On this album he also developed his skills as a producer.
