NATIONAAL JEUGD JAZZ ORKEST & ERIC VLOEIMANS

Eric Vloeimans is currently The Netherlands’ most prominent trumpet player and also the artistic director of the third tour of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. He will perform as the conductor and soloist of this big band made up of 20 young talents on the verge of a professional career. They will perform new and existing compositions by Vloeimans specially arranged for this orchestra. As one of Europe’s finest trumpet players Eric Vloeimans is renowned for his ‘brilliant tone whose range has constantly expanded over the years’ (de Volkskrant).

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020 7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
