NATIONAAL JEUGD JAZZ ORKEST

The National Youth Jazz Orchestra is a new initiative, a learning orchestra assembled every other year and made up of up-and-coming talent under the age of twenty-two. Guest soloists for this first concert are Bart van Lier and Toon Roos. The 18-piece orchestra will include works by Henk Meurtgeert, Benjamin Herman and Duke Ellington. Arrangements include those made by Rob Scherpenisse and Willem Friede.
