MILESTONES DUSKO GOYKOVICH, SONNY FORTUNE & TRIO REIN DE GRAAFF

In Rein de Graaff’s series of concerts about legendary musicians, this concert revolves around Miles Davis. Saxophonist Sonny Fortune is completely at home in the world of Davis, he played with him in the seventies and recorded four albums with him. Miles is also a source of inspiration for trumpet player Dusko Goykovich who worked with Woody Herman, Dexter Gordon, Dizzy Gillespie and Gerry Mulligan. Goykovich will be a guest again of Henk Meutgeert’s Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, coming Sunday.
