New York accordion virtuoso Will Holshouser combines swing, bop and freestyle improvisation with varying traditional accordion styles, such as tango, zydeco and klezmer. He is in Europe for two weeks for a series of concerts with Dutch drummer extraordinaire Han Bennink and Michael Moore, world class American/Dutch alto saxophonist/clarinettist, known for his rich musical imagination and gorgeous tone. This sublime trio plays folk music, pieces from the Great American Songbook and free improvisations on the cutting edge and with an enormous zest for playing.
