The big band of the Metropole Orchestra has been performing regularly at the Bimhuis. In only a short period of time conductor Vince Mendoza has raised the group sound to a higher level. The band sounds more solid and colorful than ever before. On this last Metropole Orchestra Big Band night of the season the orchestra welcomes two special American guests, guitarist John Abercrombie and alto saxophonist Dick Oatts.
