METROPOLE ORCHESTRA BIG BAND

The Metropole Orchestra accommodates an excellent big band. Since many years this ensemble has collaborated with (inter)national top soloists and arrangers. In recent years the big band performed at the Bimhuis with Bill Holman, John Clayton, Jim McNeely and Maria Schneider. Vince Mendoza has recently been appointed leading conductor of the band.
