There’s a dark side to tango and nobody brings it out more than Daniel Melingo. His distinctive voice brings to mind Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Serge Gainsbourg. Melingo has discovered the heart of tango in the streets of Buenos Aires en he infuses it with a dose of swing and rock-’n-roll, assisted by his red hot band Los Ramones del Tango. ‘One of the great originals and eccentrics of the Argentinean music scene’ (The Guardian).
