MASHA BIJLSMA SUPER BAND

Masha Bijlsma, a vocalist with an original approach, sings compositions by Thelonious Monk, Fats Waller, Charlie Haden, Tony Lakatos, Jasper van ‘t Hof and Kate Bush. For her Super Band she invited, next to her regular band members, the Hungarian saxophonist Tony Lakatos. ‘Masha Bijlsma, the fragile girl with the impressing jazz voice developed herself into a vocalist of international stature’ (HP/De Tijd).
