Markus Stockhausen & Florian Weber: Inside Out

Trumpet and flugelhorn player Markus Stcokhausen knows all the ins and outs of contemporary classical music, as he has collaborated for 25 years with his legendary father, German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. In the duo with pianist Florian Weber he displays his more lyrical and glowing side, in a way that critics have compared to the melodic free style of Miles Davis.
Florian Weber became known as a pianist playing with Lee Konitz and now he performs with many American jazz greats including Donny McCaslin, Linda May Han Oh and Lionel Loueke. Under the moniker Inside Out, Stockhausen and Weber have released the album Alba on ECM Records.
