Marc Ribot (Newark, 1954) is best known for his guitar playing with Tom Waits and Elvis Costello. On top of that, his 30 year career has led him from no wave to free jazz, via works by composer John Cage and Haitian guitarist Frantz Casseus to the film score of Walk the Line (2005). Los Cubanos Postizos bring Cuban dance songs to life their own inimitable way, with steaming rhythms, warm-blooded keyboard playing and Ribot’s signature gritty licks.
