The new power trio of Marc Ribot, with two of the best new players from the American underground (New York, California) is a real band, not a ‘project’. The guitarist that added such striking new colors and lines to the music of John Zorn and Tom Waits and to that of his own Cubanos Postizos, founded, with Ceramic Dog, ‘his rawest band in ages’, according to Time Out New York.
