Manu Delago: Environ Me
With his new album Environ Me, Manu Delago wants to create awareness for our immediate surroundings. Field recordings made in London and the Alps, the places where he spends most of his time, are mixed with electronic beats and his virtuosic percussion playing. On stage he transforms into a one-man-orchestra, interacting with stunning visuals.
Manu Delago is known worldwide as an excellent player of the handpan: a steel percussion instrument that resembles an upside-down steel drum and that is played by hand. He collaborated with, among others, Björk, Ólafur Arnalds, Anoushka Shankar, Cinematic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. Environ Me is his first audiovisual solo project
