LUCIANO BIONDINI / MICHEL GODARD / ERNST REIJSEGER

Luciano Biondini-accordion, Michel Godard-tuba, Ernst Reijseger-cello

Three lost sons of classical music, that’s how this group can be characterized. As a youngster Luciano Bondini became world champion of the classical accordion. Around 1994 he dedicated himself to jazz. Ernst Reijseger, who studied with Bach-maestro Anner Bijlsma, developed a unique style, playing his cello like a guitar or a percussion instrument. Tuba player Michael Godard still is active as a baroque musician, but is mostly famous with jazz audiences. Together they play dazzling improvisations within a multitude of musical genres.
