LOEK DIKKER WATERLAND SEXTET

Apart from being a respected jazz pianist Loek Dikker is also an internationally acclaimed composer for theatre, dance and film. He has written soundtracks to more than forty feature films and was rewarded with prestigious Dutch and international film awards, including the Saturn Award. For his Waterland ensembles, with which he has been performing since the 1970s, he writes compositions in the jazz tradition, but influenced by folk, classical and film music.
